Handmade from sheet metal, much like the stuff guys would make in their spare time at the roofing shop I once worked in.
Maybe it was a toolbox, maybe a lunchbox. Appropriately gnarly from use. Can be (carefully) opened for storage and an antique lock would finish it off.
